Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting Christiane and Peter's wedding here at the Vieux Chalet. Living in LA, they wanted to unite European and American friends and family in a beautiful alpine setting here in Christiane's native Switzerland.
In an intimate, lighthearted ceremony, they were married against the backdrop of the impressive Gummfluh. The weather was perfect for their afternoon apéritif on the terrace and the dining room was beautifully decorated with local wildflowers and greenery for the evening meal.
Once the sun had dropped, guests danced by candle and lantern light on the terrace to the couple's talented friends who had united to form a band for the occasion. The whole day was beautifully simple and heartfelt. Congratulations guys - may married life be good to you across the pond!
