We’ve been welcoming schools and groups to the Vieux Chalet for more than 20 years now and many of our groups return every year.

School trips/ ski holidays/ camps – what we offer:

exclusive use of the chalet (dependent on numbers)
a filling buffet breakfast: cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese and a selection of hot and cold drinks
full or half board: a hearty three course dinner and the possibility of a hot or cold lunch. Flexible meal times to fit around your activities
a picnic lunch – make your own sandwiches from a large buffet in the morning and take them with you
an afternoon goûter (snack)
a raclette (optional) on your last night
full bedding or keep costs down by bringing your own sleeping bags. We’ll provide full bedding and towels for adults accompanying groups of children
organisation of coach travel or airport transfers
transport of luggage from the station if arriving by train
transfers to and from the télépherique for La Braye or the train station
help organising activities: plan your own stay or let us do it for you!

Sports clubs…

Use the facilities on site or book the indoor sports hall /tennis courts/ football pitch in Château-d’Oex. We have several martial arts clubs who do this for their annual camps. Need extra carbs to fuel your efforts? Fill out our questionnaire for a tailor made offer based on your needs.

If you’re looking for somewhere a bit different to organise your company training, workshop or seminar, the Vieux Chalet could be just what you’re after! Escape the city and benefit from the clean air of the mountains – whether they’re here to work or relax, our guests never fail to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the chalet itself.

If freedom and flexibility is what you’re after, you can hire the entire chalet on a self-catering basis. This is popular with camps who want to use their own chef or large groups looking to keep costs to an absolute minimum. Smaller groups can benefit from self-catering packages too – get in touch to see what we can do for you!
